Local young people are invited to participate in DiscoverE Day Camps continuing next week at Jennings Environmental Education Center.
Survive & Thrive: Growing, Changing, Adapting for kids ages 8 to 12 is being offered Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Center in Slippery Rock.
Attendees will learn about nature’s survival strategies including how flowers lure pollinators through interactive activities and outdoor exploration. Additional sessions will take place in August.
The cost of the program is $5 per session and pre-registration is required through the DCNR Calendar of Events website.
