A local student is among the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Young Ambassadors of Pennsylvania who were recently named.
Lily Crowley, a senior at Knoch High School, joins 27 other young people from across the state.
This program is in partnership with the Department of Transportation and provides opportunities for high school students to network with industry leaders, state agencies, and their communities.
The 4th year of this program continues through May of 2026 and provides participants with education and training on topics related to the impacts of litter, litter prevention, waste management and recycling, civic engagement and related public policy, volunteer management, and social media marketing.
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful will award two $1000 scholarships — one to a current senior in the Young Ambassadors program and one to an alum of the program.
