The Butler and Seneca Valley boys and girls cross country teams posted wins Tuesday.
The Golden Tornado swept Mars and North Hills. The Butler boys swept the top five spots led by Logan Rogers. Haley Long of Mars was the girls winner, followed by Butler’s Zari Golojuth and Macie McLister.
The Seneca Valley teams swept Shaler in a dominating performance. The Raiders girls won 15-50. The boys won 16-47.
Seneca Valley and Mars joined Butler in qualifying five boys golfers each for the WPIAL Triple-A Championship next Monday. Lukas Singh of Mars and Anthony Cardosi of Seneca Valley tied for third with 73’s at Saxon Golf Club.
Elise Wadas of Mars was the runner-up with a 79 at the girls WPIAL Class Triple-A qualifier Tuesday at Fox Run.
