Revenue collected from all forms of gaming along with fantasy contests saw another year over year increase in August.
According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, the state reported over $582 million in total revenue.
That figure represents an over 14% increase compared to August 2024 and is also the second highest month on record behind the over $600 million in May of this year.
The state also generated nearly $240 million in tax revenue as a result of gambling last month. Lawmakers continue to withhold the release of any state funding due to the ongoing stalemate over the budget.
