Robert G. “Bob” Fisher, 90, of Butler, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 21, 1935, in Butler Township, the son of the late Elry Edwin and Esther (Ferne) Fisher.
Bob was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a veteran of the US Navy. He also was a member of Victory Lodge #272, Syria, New Castle Consistory, Butler Rotary, and the Gideons. Bob owned and operated Fisher’s Service and Towing, Main Street, Butler, from 1958 until the time of his retirement in 2000. His slogan was “Give Bob the job”.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Nancy (Pizor) Fisher of Butler; his sons, Thomas L. (Karen) Fisher of Butler and Jeffrey S. (Janis) Fisher of Gibsonia; his daughter, Kimberly S. (Jahn) Hunka of Butler; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry (Carol) Fisher of Kissimmee, FL, daughter in law, Debbie Eck, and his cat, Trixie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert G. Fisher, Jr., and his brother, Jim Fisher.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
Services will be held at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 West Jefferson Street, Butler, PA 16001, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11 AM with Rev. David Phillips officiating.
Interment in the Butler County Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Military honors at 2:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
