Angela “Angie” Merchant

Angela “Angie” Merchant, 64, of Karns City passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, where she was reunited with her best friend on his birthday. She was born in Butler on June 4, 1961, to the late Donald and Marlene (Ellenberger) Lowers. Angie graduated from Karns City High School in 1979. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spent the winters in Daytona Beach with her husband. Angie was the beloved wife of the late Jerry Merchant, whom she married on May 8, 1982; mother of Denise (Mike) Crawford and Tammy (Heath) Schrecengost; sister of Debbie Fleeger, Leah (Mike) Andreassi, Kim (Dave) Saeler; grandmother of Aaron, Chloe, Carly, Dakota, Landon and Shayleigh; great grandmother of Paislee. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Merchant, and her best friend, Sherrie Kelly. Along with her parents and husband, Angie was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, George Merchant and Dick Fleeger, and son-in-law, Toby Larimore. Arrangements were made through SPENCER D.
