A mechanic accused of loaning out customer vehicles is once again facing more charges and could have additional cases brought forward.
Charges were filed in three new cases against 68-year-old Keith Smith of Cranberry Township for alleged depictive business practices at his business Oilology in Cranberry Township.
Police say Smith would accept work, and even sometimes take payments, before then taking weeks or even months before telling the customer work could begin. Once the vehicle was dropped off Smith would loan another customer’s car and continue to delay work.
He’s currently been charged in four cases with more investigations pending.
