Faye Dempsey

Faye Dempsey, 75, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born in Clymer, NY on April 28, 1950, to the late Harold Rouse and Flora (Maleski) Goodwill. Faye graduated from Corry Area High School and started her career as a Nurse’s Aide at Franklin Hospital and then worked at 2 nursing homes in Emlenton before ending her career as a cashier at Friedman’s. Faye was known for being devoted to her family, generous and hardworking. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo, plants, crafting and crocheting. Faye proudly held the title of “Miss Chicora 2022”, through Quality Life Services, Chicora. Mother of Linda Hartman; grandmother of Brandon Buzard, Bethany Huff, Cassidy Ambrose, Madison Raimondi, Natalia, Ava and Rowan Motter; great grandmother of Hendrix Burruss.
