Marilyn Ann Natili, 82, of Avon Lake, OH, formerly of Murrysville and Butler, PA, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Marilyn was born April 11, 1943, in Tarentum, PA, to the late Peter and Martha (Martin) Odrey.
Marilyn graduated in 1965 from Butler High School and graduated from both Slippery Rock University and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education. Marilyn worked at both the University of Pittsburgh and California University of Pennsylvania in the career services department prior to retiring in 2010. Marilyn enjoyed attending sporting and dance events to support her grandchildren, attending Corvette club functions, and walking in the many Metro Parks trails. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed listening to audiobooks on her Kindle.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Richard P. Natili, whom she married on June 12, 1965. She is also survived by a son, Richard (Colleen) Natili Jr., of Venetia, PA; and daughter, Suzanne (Michael) Stuewe, of Avon Lake, OH; seven grandchildren, Michael, Richard (“Trey”), Matthew, Jackson, Luke, Kaitlin, and Gabriel. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Bellinotti of Natrona Heights, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews that she cherished and loved.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Powers, brothers-in-law Gene Bellinotti, Richard (“Dick”) Powers, and Joe Vavro, and sister in laws, Mary Natili and Mary Ellen Natili.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, from 5 -7 pm at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, 16001.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7, 2025, at 10 am at All Saints Parish- St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N McKean St, Butler, PA 16001, with Father John Baver officiating.
