Jordan Geist makes longest shotput throw in the world this year

Last week, Knoch graduate and current Slippery Rock University track & field throws coach Jordan Geist became the first thrower in the world to top the 22-meter mark in the shot put this year. Geist was competing in the World Athletics Czech Indoor Gala. He threw 22.04 meters in his second attempt of the event.
