Tammy R. Trauterman, 56 of Butler was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, February 8th, 2026 surrounded by her family after her battle with cancer.
She was born to Stephen and Susan Trufley on January 30th, 1970. She went to Butler High School and went on to marry her high school sweet heart, Joe Trauterman. Together, they had two children, Samantha and Cory (Hannah) Trauterman.
Tammy’s proudest accomplishment in life was being a mother; she was always there for her kids. She stayed home to raise her children until she got her job at Valley Dairy in 2011. She met so many wonderful people along the way. She would always come home and talk about “her customers”, they made her days at work worth going. In her off time, she loved going camping at Slippery Rock Camp Ground with her husband and beloved dog, Zena. She also enjoyed going to craft shows, spending time with her family, riding around at camp on the golf cart with her dog and husband, watching nascar races, and having drinks around the fire.
She is survived by her husband, her children, her mother and father, a sister, Patty (Shawn) Bowser, niece Alyssa Thomas, nephew Mark Thomas, sister-in-law, Lisa Trauterman, mother-in-law, Barbara (Joseph) Vivelo, father-in-law, Jerry (Karen) Trauterman, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by two uncles, Jack and Ed “Skeek” Mohan, who we know were there to guide her home. Her laughter, loving smile, caring heart, and goofy personality will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 6-8 PM at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
