Moraine State Park is offering local educators a workshop tomorrow for those interested in teaching kids about the outdoors.
Instructors will lead a workshop on Hiking and Snowshoeing from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday at the Park Region 2 Conference Room on Park Road in Prospect.
All adult educator participants will receive Go Teach Educational guides for teaching students from kindergarten through 12th grade the basics of hiking and snowshoeing. Those planning to attend are asked to pack a lunch and dress for the weather.
This workshop costs $20 to attend and registration is required by visiting the DCNR events calendar.
