Penn State is launching a new butcher apprenticeship program.
The program is designed to help provide hands-on training for individuals that would like to become butchers.
Participants will be expected to attend in-person classes at Penn State main, that will give them training with meat processing and other butcher skills.
The program starts in mid-July and runs through early August.
