One woman died in a crash in Butler Township yesterday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 2 p.m. on Route 8 at the intersection with Decatur Drive.
Police say 67-year-old Deborah Myers of Butler was driving down the hill of Decatur Drive when she went into the intersection with Route 8 and hit a car driven by 36-year-old Chanta Pflugh of Karns City.
Police say Myers died as a result of the accident.
A portion of Route 8 was closed in between Litman Road and McCalmont Road for more than two hours.
