Jefferson Township has taken the next step in the renovation of the SEBCO Pool.
At a special meeting earlier this week, township supervisors approved a project bid of just over $2.7 million from Mainline Commercial Pools.
Butler County helped secure grants for the pool, but there is a required match by the township for some of those awards. Jefferson Township recently received a $150,000 donation towards the project and continues to seek additional donations to help cover the cost.
This project is expected to begin shortly after county approval later this month with the pool ready for public use in May of 2027.
