This weekend marks the anniversary of the disappearance of Cherrie Mahan.
The eight-year-old disappeared after getting off a school bus near her Winfield Township home on February 22, 1985.
The case remains unsolved, although local efforts have ramped up over the past year.
State police remain the lead investigators into the case, but other efforts have also been undertaken.
A group known as Cherrie’s Angels have made a push to help solve the case. There was also a private investigator that was brought in to assist.
At this point, no suspects have been publicly identified.
