A major paving project of Route 8 in Butler will begin next week.
PennDOT announced the $13.6 million resurfacing project will run nearly 10 miles—beginning at McCalmont Road in Butler Township and running to Route 308 in Center Township.
This will also include work on the Route 8/Route 422 interchange.
Crews will be patching, paving, and working on drainage, along with other work.
Drivers can expect potential lane restrictions during that time, along with ramp closures.
The work is scheduled to start Monday and last through this November.
