Walter F. Rinier, age 73, of Parker, PA, formerly of Castle Shannon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
A proud veteran, Walt served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and later in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a graduate of Keystone Oaks High School and spent his career as a skilled auto body repairman in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. In retirement, he enjoyed the quiet of the country and the company of his dogs.
He was the beloved son of the late Walter C. Rinier and Katherine Winters. He is survived by his sisters, Judy (John) Stewart and Nancy (Ron) Belanger; his daughters, Tara (Justin) Work and Leah Rinier; and five grandchildren, Aubrey, Jake, Elliana, Brooke, and Jayson; as well as several dear friends from Pittsburgh to Parker, Pa.
