A man who committed an armed robbery and stole thousands from a Brady Township home two years ago has pled guilty.
In May of 2024, police were called to a home on McCommons Lane for two men who claimed to be gun rights advocates but used that as a cover to break into the home of an elderly woman.
54-year-old Herbert Zellefrow and 30-year-old Damean Felmlee then broke into the home and tied up the victim and demanded $40,000. After damaging the home and stealing thousands, the two men left.
In January, Felmlee pled guilty to 6 of 28 charges and received 5 to 12 years in prison.
On Tuesday, Zellefrow pled guilty to four of 24 charges and 1 of 7 for being in illegal possession of the firearm used in the robbery. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months to 12 years in prison with 639 days served.
Zellefrow will also have to pay $14,620 in fees, fines, cost of prosecution, and restitution
