Butler City residents will be receiving their spring taxes soon, but they’ll notice it might be a little different.
County Treasurer Diane Marburger says that as city property owners receive spring taxes, all of the bills will be on one statement.
Previously, tax payers would have received a bill from the city, the county, and per capita taxes separately. Now, all of those will be on one bill and can be paid directly to the county.
The bills can be paid online, by mail, or at the County Government Center.
