Two women have been charged in neighboring Mercer County after a parent found a handgun belonging to a friend of their child.
According to Grove City Police, 38-year-old Erin Eakin of Kennerdell and 61-year-old Susan Morris of Polk were charged on February 18th.
This stems from an incident during which each woman permitted a 16-year-old boy to possess and store a handgun at a friend’s house.
Charges pending court action include Possession of Firearm to a Minor-Responsibility of Adult, Endangering the Welfare of Children, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
