Butler Township Police have released more information on a crash that seriously injured one-person and sent two others to the hospital Monday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 1:30 p.m. for a three-vehicle crash in the 100 block of Whitestown Road near the Lyndora Post Office.
According to police, 60-year-old Sue Domhoff of Butler struck a parked car operated by 73-year-old Sandra Erdos of Butler. Erdos was attempting to exit her vehicle when she was struck from behind, the force of that collision pushed her to hit her head on the windshield of her vehicle. She was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital via LifeFlight for a head laceration.
Another vehicle occupied by 62-year-old Todd Eichenauer of Cheswick was also struck in the crash. Both Eichenauer and Domhoff suffered minor injuries and were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
All three vehicles were towed from the scene and Whitestown Road was shut down to one lane for an hour.
