A Butler man accused of entrapping a woman and her children in her in the City of Butler had several charges held against him dropped and his bail lowered.
On February 3rd police were called to the 100 block of Wicks Street for a possible burglary, with the suspect heading towards Memorial Park. When officers spoke with the victim, they accused 31-year-old Terrence Fields Jr. of holding her and her children in the home.
Police arrested and charged Fields with two counts of felony false imprisonment, one count of a misdemeanor false imprisonment, strangulation, simple assault, criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief.
Those charges have now been dismissed, except for a criminal mischief charge.
His bail was lowered to $5,000. The case now moves to the Common Pleas Court, the next court date is a formal arraignment on April 21.
