An effort to find a solution to funding and staffing EMS personnel is continuing in the southwestern portion of the county.
The EMS Analysis initiative is underway between multiple municipalities in the southwestern corridor. It includes Cranberry, Evans City, Harmony, Seven Fields, Zelienople, along with Forward and Jackson Townships.
The group originally convened for a study last October, which provided some recommendations for reliable service and sustainable funding.
The analysis is now going through those municipalities’ boards and councils to decide how to move forward.
