One person was taken to the hospital after a crash that impacted traffic on Route 8 yesterday evening.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Route 8 South at the intersection of Humbolt Place in Middlesex Township.
Crews arrived on scene and found a car over the hillside and another in the southbound lane.
That led to a portion of Route 8 being shut down for about 30 minutes.
One person was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, while another was treated at the scene.
Traffic reopened by 6:30 p.m.
