A local business is hosting a fundraiser later this week.
A Borgen Project Canvas Fundraiser is planned for Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Steele’s Brushes and Ceramics on North Main Street Extension.
Participants will receive guided instruction for a 16 by 20 canvas along with all paints, supplies, and materials. This step by step class is appropriate for all skill levels with no experience necessary.
The cost is $35 per person with a portion of the proceeds supporting the mission of the Borgen Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing global poverty by educating, engaging, and mobilizing people to advocate for effective poverty-focused policies.
