Saxonburg is seeking help with a replica bridge that needs to be moved or it will be taken apart and stored away.
The model Brooklyn Bridge connected to the wire shop in Roebling Park needs to be moved from the wire shop.
The borough has the man power to move the model bridge, but needs the equipment.
Borough manager Steven May doesn’t want to put the bridge in storage because of its importance to the community.
“It’s a roadside attraction. Many people have had their wedding or senior prom photos there,” May said. “It’s a big part of the community and we don’t want to lose that.”
Bids will go out for the project next month but if a plan cannot be made the model bridge will be taken part and stored away.
