The Pittsburgh Penguins were defeated by the Dallas Stars last night 3-6. The Penguins will face off against the Islanders on Monday in New York.
The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the New York Mets last evening 2-4.

The first of the Elite Eight games of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament concluded last night. The Iowa Hawkeyes lost to the Illinois Fighting Illini 59-71. The Purdue Boilermakers also were defeated last evening by the Arizona Wildcats 64-79.
The Nascar Cup Series will race the short track in Martinsville, Virginia today. Race coverage begins at 2:30pm on WBUT. Denny Hamlin and William Byron won the races there last year.
