A local organization is inviting residents to help the American Red Cross address blood shortages this week.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), from noon to 5:30 p.m. a blood drive is planned for the Slippery Rock Township Municipal Building.
This event is organized by the Rotary Club of Slippery Rock and donors will receive an exclusive Red Cross Life is Good t-shirt while supplies last.
Those interested or able to donate are asked to make an appointment by visiting the Red Cross website or calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
