The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office has announced that the Commonwealth led the country in Medicaid fraud convictions.
The state also ranked third in charges filed against those who steal from state Medicaid programs.
The convictions have led to over $41 million in funding returned to the Commonwealth.
In total 115 new cases were filed last year and a conviction was reached at 115 cases.
