It’s Tax Day.
All federal tax returns are due to the IRS by today.
However, if your taxes cannot be completed by today there are automatic six month extensions available for everyone that can be done for free.
An analysis from the website Upgraded Points found that about 68 percent of tax filers in Butler County will receive a refund. The average return is around $3,200.
The IRS says most individuals file their taxes well before today’s deadline.
