Today is the final day to register for May’s primary election.
Pennsylvania is a closed primary state, meaning voters can only vote in their registered party’s ballot.
Meanwhile, the final day to apply for a mail-in ballot is May 12. But election officials say to allow for time for the ballot to reach your home, and then the election office before the deadline.
Registration is available online at vote.pa.gov or at the county election office on West Cunningham Street.
