The North Allegheny boys volleyball team swept Butler 3-0 last night to win their 24th WPIAL championship. It was Butler’s first-ever league title game appearance. Both teams have advanced into the state tournament.
Another team from North Allegheny and Butler’s section has also reached the state level – Seneca Valley also clinched a PIAA tournament berth following a 3-1 win over Baldwin last night in a Class 3A consolation game.
