Another local group is holding an event to mark Memorial Day and the public is invited to attend.
American Legion Post 548 in Gibsonia is hosting a program Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Richland Township Community Park.
In addition to remarks by a Brigadier General and a flyover, the program will recognize Vietnam Veterans, America’s 250th Birthday, and local first responders.
Attendees will then be able to enjoy a free picnic along with raffles as a fundraiser for the legion.
