Lawmakers in Harrisburg are planning to introduce a bill that would make records for utility rate increases more readily available for the public.
The proposed house bill is in companion to a senate bill that would create a central database of rate increases.
The house bill would make the central data base “user friendly”, searchable online information on all utility rates, and every request for a rate increase.
The house bill is searching for co-sponsors and is awaiting to be introduced.
