The candidates are set for the special state house election in the 12th Legislative District this upcoming August.
Republicans officially chose Scott Timko as their candidate, while Democrats selected Brandon Dukes.
The special election is a result of the resignation of State Representative Stephenie Scialabba, who stepped down earlier this year.
Both Dukes and Timko will also be on the ballot as their party’s respective candidates in November.
