A Butler man is facing charges after being accused of strangling a woman in the City of Butler.
On Saturday, the victim told Butler City Police they were assaulted by 48-year-old Marlon Williams.
The victim claims Williams punched her in the face and then strangled her while she was on the ground. According to charging documents, significant bruising could be seen on the victim.
Williams was charged with strangulation and simple assault, he’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
