Officials with the National Weather Service will be looking into whether or not a tornado hit portions of Western Pennsylvania yesterday.
An initial call for a tornado on the ground was reported in the Punxsutawney area around 4:50 p.m. yesterday.
The line of storms continued into Butler County, leading to a tornado warning for the northwestern portion of the county, along with parts of Mercer, Venango, and Lawrence.
The National Weather Service says that radar indicated rotation, which led to the warning.
Wind gusts reached up to 60 miles per hour; there was also reports of small hail.
