A man is facing charges after fleeing police and trying to sell drugs in Butler.
The incident happened Monday when police were conducting surveillance on the 300 block of East Wayne Street looking for 41-year-old Allen Coleman of Pittsburgh, who escaped police custody earlier in the day.
Officers eventually located Coleman at a home on Taft Street and found him trying to sell drugs in the driveway.
When police searched Coleman, they allegedly found 31 grams of crack cocaine and $800 cash, and extra money in his car.
Coleman has been charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture of deliver, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and drug possession.
His bail was set at $200,000 and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 29.
