A portion of North Main Street Extension near the Route 422 ramps has been closed due to a crash involving a tractor trailer.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 11:30 a.m. for a logging truck that rolled over.
Crews from Butler Township and Butler City were among those responding to find logs all over the road, a male bleeding from the ear, and a significant amount of diesel fuel leaking all over the road.
The Butler County HASMAT team and PennDOT have both been called to assist with the clean-up. Route 8 is blocked completely in that area and motorists are advised to avoid if possible or expect delays.
The truck driver was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with multiple injuries, but was in stable condition.
