A new software in the county government office aims to better alert residents about potential issues with records.
The Recorder of Deeds is starting a partnership with Alert Me. The software will notify you when a document containing your referenced name has been recorded in their office, or has been recently corrected.
Officials say the alert won’t give any formal details, but rather a message that there was a document change.
Residents can sign up for the Alert Me system on the Butler County website.
