As fireworks are being prepared for the celebration of America’s Independence Day, four legged friends may not be so prepared.
In order to prepare your dogs for fireworks, Shannon Best, the Executive Director of the Butler County Humane Society, says to keep them in a safe space.
Keeping your dog inside and not outside with an invisible fence where once scared a dog can run off is another way to get your pet safe.
Best also says that there is an uptick around the 4th of July of pets coming into the shelter due to running away during firework shows.
