The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing summer road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include pipe replacement on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township as well as bridge repairs along Campground Road in Mercer Township.
Patching will take place on New Castle Road in Butler Township and Hartmann and Seneca School Roads in Jackson Township, while mill and fill is planned for Buenavista Road in Fairview Township and Mahood Road in Clay, Concord and Oakland Townships.
Shoulder cutting and mowing is planned for North Pike Road in Winfield and Buffalo Townships along with West Sunbury Road in Center Township and Route 8 in Mercer Township.
In Clearfield Township, Clearfield Road from Route 422 to Winfield Township will be closed Monday (tomorrow) through Friday, July 17th from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. for culvert replacement.
Finally, in Penn Township, PennDOT officials say there will be a one-day closure of Meridian Road to allow for the removal of debris around the Renfrew Bridge tomorrow (Monday). As long as weather permits, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing until 4 p.m. the closure will be in place between the intersections with McCalmont and Renfrew Roads.
