A fundraiser for a firefighter that was injured on duty is happening this weekend.
Mike King of the Oneida Valley Fire Department was responding to a downed tree on Route 38 back in March when he was hit by another falling tree. That knocked him into an oncoming car.
King was seriously injured and was in the hospital for over a month.
The Bruin community is holding a Lemonade Stand fundraiser this Saturday on Main Street. There will be lemonade, baked goods, and other sweet treats from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
