Police are providing more information about the pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle earlier this week in Saxonburg.
Police were called to the 200 block of Carol Drive on Monday around 5:30 p.m. for a man runover by a U-Haul truck.
The victim was flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center for his injuries; his current condition is unknown.
According to charging documents, 76-year-old Dennis Wolff hit the victim with the truck, stopped, and while the victim was under the truck, Wolff ran over him again.
Several witnesses told police they yelled for Wolff to stop, but he refused and fled the scene. Wolff then returned the U-Haul and came back to Carol Drive, where he was taken into custody.
Wolff has been charged with aggravated assault, accidents involving death or personal injury, simple assault, tampering with physical evidence, simple assault, and reckless driving.
Bail for Wolff was set at $25,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 8.
