A Seven Fields man on juvenile probation was found with a stolen and altered gun, and is now in the Butler County Prison.
Police say the stolen gun was found on July 13 during a probation check at 18-year-old Aaron Whittington’s Cranberry Township home.
According to charging documents, the gun was modified to be fully automatic and was reported stolen by the Bellevue Police Department.
Whittington was charged with receiving stolen property and has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 31.
