Residents are invited to visit a local park later this week for a presentation about a particular group of pollinators.
Moraine State Park is presenting “Monarch Madness” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pleasant Valley Non-motorized Launch Parking Area on the South Shore.
A Park Naturalist will lead a kid-friendly discussion about butterfly life cycles and habitat as well as migration paths through a game.
The evening will also include a closer look at these remarkable insects in the wild.
