There’s still time for local young people to participate in an event planned for this week.
The Alliance for Nonprofit Resources and Salvation Army are teaming up for a Cereal Bowl on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Salvation Army Gym on West Cunningham Street.
Kids ages 5 to 18 can win boxes of cereal by knocking down pins. No experience or equipment is needed but participants must provide a school ID.
The deadline to register is tomorrow (Monday) by calling 724-287-5532.
