Vanaja Samuel, 80, of Butler, PA, passed away on July 30, 2026.
She was born on July 5, 1946 in India to the late Muthia Amirtharaj and Lizzie (Kesari) Amirtharaj.
Vanaja enjoyed singing, going to church, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her son, Dhinesh (Yogi) Samuel; grandchildren, Zephan and Zuriel Samuel, and sisters, Vimala, Vigi, Vani, Shobha, and Vahee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ravidhas Samuel; and son Suresh Samuel.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 P.M. at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, PA 16001, with Rev. Dave Fetherlin officiating.
A private burial will be held at North Side Cemetery.
