One person died and multiple people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Venango Township yesterday.
The accident happened just before 4 p.m. in the 300 block of Eau Claire Road.
State police say a 17-year-old girl was driving west when she crossed the center line and went into the other lane. Her car hit a pickup truck driven by 50-year-old Rebecca Rogers of Slippery Rock.
The passenger in the teen’s car was 36-year-old Amanda Montgomery of Boyers. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The teen driver was flown to children’s hospital. Rogers and a three-year-old in her car were taken to Grove City Hospital.
Police said Montgomery was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Eau Claire Road was shut down for a time.
